Galileeness

Well, I'll post something soon about my last week, but i thought I'd post something to tide y'all over, so here's a poem i wrote when i got back to my room last night on my last night in Galilee after a lovely bonfire chapel and then wandering off on my own to talk to God.

azure sky and orange chairs
rocks and sand and sea and sky
my heart is bowing on the ground
as Jesus meets me there

i found a place where Jesus melds
the smolten embers of my heart
i want to give it all to Him
Avinu show me how

if every thing within me fights
to live another day
i'm giving all there is to Him
to glorify His name

to love the children all around
and glorify the Son
will be the perfect end to life
the total sum of me

the day is played, i know it's done
but this last thought remains
the stars are pinpricks in the sky
to shine the glory through

I know it's kinda a mishmash of stuff that was going on and running trhough my head, but i like it and i hope it's a blessing. :) And Avinu is hebrew for our father.
